Discussion of what this imaginary pet would appreciate in a home will be encouraged\, as well as creative and unusual ideas for how to arrange their mini-habitats. A wide variety of options and materials will be provided to encourage each individual child to let their imagination run wild! DESCRIPTION:Ages 6-8: June 19-23\, 9:30-11 AM\nAges 9-12: June 26-30\, 9:30-11 AM\nAges 13-16: July 10-14\, 9:30-11 AM \nInspired by the exhibitions at the Dubuque Museum of Art\, students will explore a variety of mediums including drawing\, painting\, mixed media and 3-dimensional work. \nYoung artists will explore the Museum’s galleries for inspiration and head to the studio to create their own works of art in a variety of mediums. \nThe Museum’s educational philosophy focuses on experimentation\, problem solving and “thinking outside the box”. Students create art in a safe and positive environment\, finding inspiration in the Museum’s exhibitions and collections.
